How does the AI text behind image effect work?
AI separates the subject from the background, then your text is drawn between the two layers, so it looks like it's behind the subject.
Why is part of my text hidden?
Text behind a subject is meant to be partly covered. If too much is hidden, move it up or down, or make it bigger so the letters show on both sides. Short words are spread out automatically so they stay readable.
Can I change the font, colour or add a glow?
Yes. Tap a look (Bold, Serif, Glow or Shadow), pick a colour, and open More options for any font, effects, rotation, tilt and opacity.
Can I add more than one line of text?
Yes. Tap + to add another text. It starts in the clearest free part of the photo, for a date, price or tagline.
Can some letters go in front of the subject?
Yes, on the Pro plan. Letters in front lets any single letter sit in front of the subject while the rest of the word stays behind.
Can I use it for Instagram, YouTube thumbnails or Canva?
Yes. Download the finished photo and post it, or upload it into Canva as a finished image. The text is already behind the subject, so it looks the same everywhere.
